Guilty usurper of a dying sunset A glass falls; shatters Into a thousand crystalline pieces Scattered, glittering, all around; Weeping diamonds on the ebony ground.
The hushed silence is broken A sudden stifled cry Trembling hands rush forwards, Grasp at a memory already lost, Falter, sharp edges kiss soft skin, A pearl of blood wells, glistens.
And all around a thousand crystalline pieces
Wink, mourning the death of the sun, B
